Vegetation- Tropical dry deciduous forest consisting of teak, Terminalia, Anogeissus, bamboo and other species.
Fauna- Tiger Panthera tigris, leopard P. pardus, jungle cat Felis chaus, sloth bear Melursus ursinus, striped hyaena Hyaena hyaena, jackal Canis aureus, Indian wild dog Cuon alpinus, nilgai Boselaphus tragocamelus, sambar Cervus unicolor, chital Axis axis, four-horned antelope Tetracerus quadricornis, chinkara (mountain gazelle) Gazella gazella, gaur Bos gaurus, wild boar Sus scrofa and others.
